Some exciting news – it is now possible to download all of the Stage 1 Tric a Chlic books by creating a free account on their website. We’ve created a permanent link to the Tric a Chlic website on your child’s j2e account.

We hope to re-start our weekly news/show and tell sessions over video this week. We will hopefully be able to update you early in the week.

Thank you for everything,

E-learning – Ireland – 4/5/2020

Thank you for all your work over the past week. Please feel free to share any photos/videos of your child completing any tasks with us using the upload button on j2e – we really do enjoy seeing what the children have been up to.

After learning about our local area the magic carpet is now ready to take off! We will be travelling oversea but won’t need to travel very long before arriving at our destination….Ireland. How about using Google Earth to pretend that you are travelling from your house to a chosen destination in Ireland?

Your child will be learning facts about Ireland and will listen to the folk tale Branwen. Please encourage your child to listen carefully to the names in the story as they might be familiar! Some of the classes in Ysgol Treganna are named after characters in the story. The story is available in the shred files (ffeiliau wedi’u rhannu) area of just2easy.

Here are your activities for the week.

Please ensure that you click the ‘Complete task’ button on j2homework after completing the task to ensure that your class teacher can see that the task has been completed.

Our theme for the upcoming term is Y Carped Hud (The Magic Carpet)! We can’t wait to travel the world on our magic carpet. I wonder  which countries we will visit?

Aeth Mam-gu i’r Farchnad

We kindly ask that you continue to encourage your child to experiment with j2easy regularly, we really do enjoy seeing the various pictures and animations they’ve created on Jit5!

To ensure that we have a record of what your child has been doing whilst learning at home we would like you to use the “Uwchlwytho” (Upload) section on j2easy. By doing this your child’s class teacher will be able to provide feedback by recording an audio clip (your child is welcome to respond to the comments made).

If the class teacher has left a comment on your child’s work a speech bubble will appear by the work within the “Fy ffeiliau” (My files) section on the j2easy dashboard. Click on the speech bubble to hear the feedback.

We will be using j2stars to reward your child.

Please feel free to contact Mrs Alaw if you require any assistance using Hwb. Mrs Alaw will try and respond as soon as possible within working hours (9am – 4pm)

E-learning Week 1 – 23/3/2020

Hello,

We would like to start by saying DIOLCH to all the children! Thank you for being such lovely children, you’ve made us smile on a daily basis. We’ve had the pleasure of watching you grow and develop over the last two terms and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

We hope that you’ve all had a chance to relax over the weekend and are ready for your first week of home learning. Please remember that it is important that you listen to your parents and be patient.

The first home learning task of the week is to create a rainbow to display in your front window. This rainbow will cheer up passer-by’s by reminding them that ‘after a storm, comes the rainbow’.
