Good afternoon and a happy Friday to you all.
What an extremely interesting week. We had such valuable experiences such as learning about the life of Welsh actors and having them give us some advice ahead of our planning of our Christmas show. We also learnt about the history of Tryweryn and Capel Celyn – thank you very much to former Treganna teacher, Miss Elenid for allowing us to learn more about her family’s history and for showing us artefacts from the period. In addition to this, we’ve been looking at examples of portal stories and learning about how to write our very own. In maths, we’ve been learning to calculate percentages of values and equivalent percentages, fractions and decimals.
Mr Davies and Mrs Miles-Farrier have also enjoyed listening to the wonderful oral presentations given by members of their class, whilst Mr Lewis is extremely excited about returning to listening to those of dosbarth Gronw next week.
This week’s homework will be based on percentages. We have created an assignment and shared this with you within your class’s TEAMS account. Remember to read the question carefully, as it may ask for more than one answer.
