Staff

Mrs Alaw is our teacher and we are also very lucky to have Miss Parry helping us in the classroom all day, Miss Davies in the mornings and Miss Celyn in the afternoon. Mrs Llwyd will be teaching us every Monday and Mrs Hughes every Friday morning.

Physical Education

We have two physical education sessions each week – Monday morning and Friday morning.

Reading Books

Reading books are sent home every Friday and are due back in school the following Thursday. Please remember to complete the reading record each week by noting your comments and your child’s comment.

Homework

The home learning task is set every Friday on our class page. Your child needs to complete the task by the following Thursday.

Snack

We have snack daily and this usually means a selection of fruit 4 days a week and then we have toast and cinema on a Friday – this is quite often the weeks highlight for some. We ask for a contribution of £1 per week. Snack money is paid every term or half term and we ask you to send the money to school in an envelope clearly labelled with your child’s name and class. You can hand any letters/money to a member of staff, office staff or place it in your child’s book bag.

Drop-off/Pick-up arrangements

The Reception gate is opened at 8:40am and a member of staff will be on the yard to supervise the children. The gate is closed at 8:55am. If you are late for any reason please go to the main office where you’ll be able to register your child. The school day ends at 3:25pm and you will need to collect your child form the Mabon class gate (behind the school).

We ask you to inform the school if your child’s pick-up arrangements change. Due to safety reasons we can not release a child if we are unsure of their pick-up arrangement.
