Another successful and interesting week in Year 4!
The children have worked very hard this week and we have learned so much about our wonderful city! The children had the chance to imitate the beautiful art of Rhiannon Roberts and the outcomes were incredible. They’ve also made great effort to learn how to use a compass successfully and to differentiate between right angles, acute angles, obtuse angles, straight angles, reflex angles and full angles. We also enjoyed creating a pamphlet to attract tourists to Cardiff called ‘Croeso i Gaerdydd’!
This week’s homework:
Based on their mathematical knowledge of angles, we would like the children to create a picture using the most angles possible. We ask that they show the different angles in the drawing and be as creative as possible!
(Mrs Davage and Mr Evan’s Maths group will understand this better after our lesson on Monday, so they can try it then.)
