Traffic on the way to the School

Over the past year the Governors have been discussing with council officers their concerns about aspects of traffic on the way to the School, while and the school has been working on developing an Active Travel Plan. As a result of the discussions Cardiff Council have been working on plans to improve the streets around the school and are ready now to pilot a temporary scheme to expand the pavement under the bridge between Lansdowne Road and Broad Street so that it is more secure for pupils who walk and cycle to school. Here is a  a letter from the Council explaining that the temporary scheme will start on Monday 29 June for a period of six months. I hope this will encourage you to walk when bringing the children to school in the next few weeks.
